Maybe I'm being picky but if you pay for a subscription, why do they limit you to about an hour per month? It looks and sounds great, but anything software related should just be unlimited.

Honestly, I find it unimportant. Voiceovers like this are totally useless for content creators who mostly base everything on their own voice. Creating intros with emphasis and tones that are not "ours" immediately makes us perceive that it is artificial. Excellent for those who perhaps make some short films.

Just downloaded it today and was not very impressed. Just more of Apple hype. Not one wants to put in the time to do the work. Everyone wants instant gratification. I think it’s more of the same.

The Enhance Light and Color option is actually insanely good and if you hold up a color checker card during a recording, the enhance feature will use it to color balance your footage. It's so good that I only have to do a few tweaks after to get my desired look.

My main issues are that "add freeze frame" still doesn't work correctly and at Apple they still don't know that Mongolian is a real language. I asked several times to add it to the language list in the captions but even in 2024 (!) it is still not added. This new version of FCP looks more like a beta version.

What about the fact that the FX3 body is basically a whole cage?

It turns out that if you rename Stock Effects, Titles, and Generators within the FCPX App, and you share your library with another editor or try to open it in another Mac, it won't do so correctly and the annoying red boxes will show up, since the other computer or person has not renamed those Effects as yours. Has anyone found a solution for that, on how to relink Stock Titles, Effects, and Generators without having to rename everything manually?

No more audio scrub when moving on timeline frame by frame with left right arrow, it's really boring for me, back to 10.7.1 for the moment :(

We need auto-trim gaps to quickly remove all the non-speaking parts of a video. We also need to be able to edit the video using the captions that SHOULD be generated (it's 2024 afterall). Maybe Apple Intelligence and OpenAI can make this happen soon.

If you just click on a clip and press C, it will get all the color adjustments from the previous clip. JUST THE COLOR ADJUSTMENTS, nothing else like volume, retiming etc.This can be done on the previous versions of final cut too

What issues do you have with Adjustment Layers for Color Correction/Grading?

The AI Slow Motion feature is definitely going to be my favorite. My camera allows me to shoot in 4k but it's limited at 24fps, so if I want slow-mo, I always have to lower to 1080p...This is definitely going to help me with my high resolution videos with slow-mo intact sheeeeshhh Thanks for sharing
